I usually cook any of these:

Dinner-
Canned Dinty Moore beef stew with added Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce

Instant mashed potatoes with butter and Worcestershire sauce addded

Pizza Wrap (large flour tortilla stuffed with sausage, shredded mozzarella, pizza sauce, stewed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, etc) - the wrap is heated at home in a microwave to melt the cheese, and then vacuum sealed, 2 to a bag. At camp, you just boil a pot of water either on the camp stove or on a fire, and drop the bag into the pot. A few minutes later, its hot and ready to eat. No fuss, no mess, no dishes, no smell to wipe away off your hands.

Breakfast-

Breakfast Burritos ( scrambled eggs, hot sauce, shredded cheese, sausage). Make and heat just like the pizza wraps.

Individual oatmeal packets

Pop-Tarts (blueberry, of course)

Coffee made in a pour-over cone, or instant packets.

Lunch/Snacks-
Ramen noodle meal in a cup (easy and fast, no dishes needed)

Ham and cheese sandwich melt (made in a pie iron). A hot sandwich in December in between hunts is magical.

Trail mix, Pringles, pretzels, for snacks.

Something I've learned is that the condiment table at Taco Bell is a great place to get seasonings for camping/hiking trips.

Nathan's hot dogs lol

I can and will bring a lot more than that, but for simple overnight fishing trips usually a pack of hot dogs and occasionally some cheese and bacon to go on top. And a stick to roast them over the coals

Does your campsite have electricity? If so I always liked preparing anything I could put in a crockpot or slow cooker. Turn it on and go hunt for the afternoon. Get back to camp after dark and tired and don't feel like cranking up a fire and preparing a meal. Just lift the lid and have a hot meal.

Probably already know: But make up some seasoned hamburger steakes before hand good hefty ones. Grill em on each side to med rare add a good sized skillet of some sautéed oninions n peppers, bread, taters. Or use a couple of cans of cream of mushroom soup onions lots of black pepper, grill HB steaks on each side like above finish off in big skillet with the soup and onions. Sides taters, rolls, green beans.

ETA: GET fancy add a pot of egg noodles. Then over top of steaks a 3rd can of cream of mushroom soup and sour cream, and recommended sides...good hunt camp beef stroganoff. Don't want noodles use long grain quick cook brown rice. Good side also is broccoli.

We would make really nice meals then vacuum seal in pouches and then freeze. They help keep everything in the cooler cold, and only require a pot of water to warm up. Best of all is toss the bag into the campfire and no cleanup needed.
