Food Plots Whats the best first time planting

Are Plot Start and 3-Cal the liquid applications? If so, they work, but only briefly. I would definitely go with pelletized lime. It works much faster than standard ag lime (although it does not last as long). You will see a response from pelletized lime in just weeks after application. Ag lime can take months to start breaking down into the soil.

Hello Again,
I've gotten my bottom field planted with multiple clover species, buck wheat, and milo and all have began to sprout ( some better than others). I've finished clearing and cleaning my plots in the woods which were intended to be .25ish acre plots but I don't have the smarts to stop so they're more like .40 - .50 acre plots which considering the lack of ag around its probably better that I went larger. I'm needing to do the ferts now and am going to do pellet lime but was thinking about using Plot Start or 3-Cal if they really work to hopefully have a fast response to the ph, does anyone know if either of these in fact work as advertised or is it just BS? If somethin really works as fast as they advertise it would make my life so much easier than dealing with so much more pellet lime and the time it takes to make a difference.
Just go with the pelletized lime. It's cheap and effective. Lime again this fall.

It's awfully hard to over lime.
