There's way too many variables to give you a straight yes/no answer. Every person is different with their vision.
A 4x lens doesn't mean its the equivalent to a 4x binocular or rifle scope. With an archery lens...the magnification increases as the distance from your eye increases. That's where the diopter rating comes in to play for each lens. Some are higher power than others at the same X rating.
There are clarifiers and verifiers. Clarifiers are to clear the image of the target while looking through the scope. They go in your peep sight...and do require a Specialty Peep in order to work. Verifiers are for folks that have good vision far away, but can't see their pin or pins up close...they clear the image of the pin up, and also go into a Specialty peep. Which power do you need? Only you can answer that. Most Specialty peep dealers will have a demo block with the different powers in it...and you look through it to find which gives you the clearest picture. If you are shooting 3D archery, the most common power lens is a 4x. Some only shoot a 2x. If you are shooting indoor archery, some guys are shooting 5x and 6x lens.
Also, the size aperture of your peep, can have a bearing on you seeing clearly through a lens. Some people that have good vision without correction, can go to a smaller aperture size peep and take away any fuzziness of the target while looking through the lens. That's another thing you just have to play with to find what works best for you.
