Thanks RB and GoB for putting the thread back on track.

Lots of very good college QBs run into that problem. Heath Schuler certainly did and it appears Johnny Manziel is as well. Interestingly, I heard an interview of Kurt Warner today and he thinks Mariota will as well. Probably more have difficulty making the transition than don't.

We don't get a thanks on here much since most wear orange color glasses and takes their pain from the last several yrs. out on others. I don't have any hard feelings against Meyer or Ohio because its all business and he is home. CJ could be a very good NFL qb and its a great college story... :)

Lots of passion for our teams. The whole strength of schedule thing is overblown and a tired narrative, especially when the other PTB load up on patsies as well. Heck, I've said OSU played like a good SEC team.

Plus, my oldest daughter graduated from UF last August so I have some allegiance to the Gators and want them to do well.

Jones should have entered the draft. He was 3rd string. It took 2 injuries for him to see the field. He caught Lightning in a bottle and rode it for 3 games and a National Championship. He may not even see the field next year. His stock will never be higher than it is right now.

After the way he played, I would be very surprised if he didn't get to play next season. How could a coach not play the guy that took over and won the team the national championship?

Barrett and Miller won't be available for spring ball so CJ will be 1 going into the summer. There is a serious question whether can throw again and might have to be converted. Barrett is a better qb in my opinion but how can CJ not start? Both will play. Miller is done as a qb. Might have to be Urban's second greatest coaching job. I have complete faith in that. Will be Barrett's team come 2016.
