Well Carroll lake has bee drained don't know details but figure they opened to gate to prevent levee or gate damage apparently opened too much and drained majority of the lake

Had a lot of fun catching blue gill right inside the levee at spill gate the first time it draining due to failure
Ruger would be heartbroken as this is when he really started catching them each year at the lake. Many fun times with him there as well

i saw it guahing yesterday more than usual, from the bottom of the gate.

It's one of my favorite to fish for bluegill I only live about 5 minutes from it
They say the rain that is yet to get here will be enough to get it back up near normal levels, but I'm not certain about that myself.
Anyone have any pics?

Somebody had a video on Facebook a friend showed me
looks like the gates are closed now. water level looks about 2ft low maybe. best pic i could get, too busy making sure no carroll countians ram into me.

It was full again about 4pm yesterday. I hope them bream got down in that ditch and rode it out.
