Catfish bite in Nashville

Only been once so far this year, but they were biting good yesterday evening. An eater flathead, a couple 10-15 lb blue cats, a drum, and then a 34.5 pound flathead and finished off with another 5 pounder. Fished from about 7:30-11pm. Cut bluegill for bait. Only anchored one spot, within sight of the ramp. Never felt the need to pull up anchor and move. The bite went dead for at least half an hour before the big cat hit.

Someone dumped a bunch of silver carp around the ramp. They were ripe too

very nice. what size hooks do you use on those flatheads?

I've taken a liking to 7/0 circle hooks but will also use Kahle hooks on my lighter setups

lol if I had the time I might consider guiding but I'd need a bigger boat and a lil more experience.
