The real question is why do schools self report minor violations??

A. Because they like telling on their self.
B. Because it helps their rankings.
C. Because it gives Finebaum something to report.
D. Because the school doesn't want the NCAA sniffing around the program....

I choose E. Because the penalty for self disclosure is less than if the NCAA independently discovers it.
