Big ole sucker! Congrats!!!
I know. They have gotten pricey. The ones i had we bought 30 years ago to weigh calves for registration purposes. They are old rusty hanson scales. I think we paid 30 dollars for them. They aint 30 anymore! Might have to buy some used onesThat's a TOAD! congrats!!! Get better scales, you are always gonna wonder what that dude really weighed the rest of your life!
Good friends are far and few this day and timeAt 9, i had all the cold wind i could take then i got a picture of a one of the most massive deer necks i have ever seen just 80 yards down the ridge. 30 minutes later he running does and ripping trees up beneath me. My hands are so cold they barely work, and had deer all around me- but i take shot and give him almost 2 hours. He didnt go 70 yards. 21" inside and he bottomed my old hanson scales out at 200 after gutting. My biggest bodied TNdeer by far. 32" neck. Not a great scorer but age is the only number i really care about anymore. Will send his teeth off and post results. Thanks to hillbilly hunter for helping drag this dude out. Would have been tough by my lonesome.
