Center Hill tips?

My in laws get a room every year at Edgar Evans in early June. Any tips on how to catch fish (any fish, but we are generally geared up for bass) down there this time of year? I am boatless and my FIL only pulls the boat over for this trip each year, so we really can't figure much out. Not looking for your secret honey hole, but won't turn it down, either!
