....from the parking lot at Notre Dame stadium. Beautiful fall day with temps in the 40's. Supposed to dip down into the 30's after sunset. Great weather for tailgating and a college football game.

I see the SEC already took a big hit today, which is awesome.

It's crazy that Iowa may run the table.

It was super weird seeing Spurrier as a guest on ESPN Game Day this morning.

Iowa's getting a little banged up and good possibility a few key players out for the season, but they seem to make it happen. I know the West division isn't a high rated conference but Iowa usually isn't a high rated team either and happy to see them go to bowl games considering the kids he has. Would love to see them take MS or Ohio out if they can hold on for the Big 10 Championship. But if they do that they will definitely be in over their heads for bowl opponent.

Iowa is looking good. Huge wins over Wisky and NW. Still have to play MN and NE, but I agree IA is positioned to win the B1G West. Stout D. Funny, but the past few years the pressure was on Ferentz to step down. Whispers were Bert Bielema would replace him. Good for Iowa that didn't happen.
 
Ya seems like every 3 or 4 years they have really good team for iowa and that's what makes ferentz as a coach. The qb is better than last year even though he looks better at Michigan than he ever did at Iowa, but he still can't run or pass very far. I knew they couldn't play with TN last year too slow and qb just couldn't make it happen. This year I like their odds and yes they're better than last year and coaches trying some different things other than run 3 plays and hope you made a 1st down. Defense has blitzed more this year than the last 4 years combined it seems like. This qb runs like a running back if he gets loose. Always been a hawk fan but it's been a couple years since it's been exciting.
