I came across a pretty good deal on a Christensen Ranger 22 yesterday and man this 22lr rabbit hole I'm in is spiraling faster and faster! However I gave the 10/22 a break today and decided to run some groups thru the Ranger and see how it does!

I think I might of stumbled across a shooter! Granted this was only 50 yards but super excited about it!

Heck yeah. Looks nice.

I'll say this about testing different ammo types - your gun may not be this way, but many 22's require being boresnaked and/or "fouled in" with a few shots of the new ammo before it will settle down and give you an accurate representation of how well that gun will group that ammo.

What I'm trying to say is that that gun may be even more accurate than it shows on that target if you didn't try that

Yeah all this test was "dirty" clean test to come! I gotta get all the kinks worked out so I can go donate to @MUP! I heard you were getting something ready to!

Maybe. I hope to go out there with my daughter in April and see how this little standard weight Tikka does in comparison to some of the varmint/target setups that some other people have. All for fun and to help fund @MUP 's hobby 😃

Still have to do some work with it on the bench and at 75 and 100. Only shot it at 50 in prone in the backyard
