Has anyone recently been up that way? My son is on one of his last years to do a juvi hunt and asked to put in on it. I have never hunted here as we have a family place, so any insight would be awesome. We spent the day up there, and have a few spots picked out but again, any friendly advice is appreciated

There are usually a bunch of people and there will be a line at the gate. They open the gate up an hour before sunrise generally. Don't hunt the fields, although they may be planted in some crops. Saw corn and soybeans last year in a few places. Once the trucks come rolling in the deer will go into evasive maneuvers. Try to find someplace thick and nowhere near parking areas. Good luck!
