I got drawn for the hunt this weekend. I know the place is pretty well covered up with birds, but any tips or tricks would be appreciated. I'm not asking for secret honey holes, just if anyone has had success out there this year and how the hunting went.

I know you didnt ask for honey holes but I didnt get dawn. Heck I didnt even put in but I do know where there WAS a whole gob of em back in deer season. I will PM directions so I dont tick anybody off.

I was covered up with birds, but the gobbler I started out after went straight to the bottom of the hollow with the hens the moment they hit the ground, which just happened to be the exact opposite direction from me. I had a chance at some jakes, but I'll save them for Saturday. It was an absolutely beautiful morning with gobbling up through 10:30, but when I signed out around 11:45, only 2 birds had been checked. Oh well, I'll be after it again in the AM.
