I'm not real sure I want that matchup after wTching Florida last night. That is one good baseball team. They have pretty much owned vAndy all season.

We need this series to happen. Would be great! Could go either way IMO. Florida has a strong and deep pitching rotation that should keep them in most games.

We have found out that this shouldn't be a problem if "any" random team is playing UF. Of course I wouldn't expect anything different from a true FSU fan. UF and FSU are big rivals in the same state and the fans like to give each other heck. Also these teams truly hate each other because most of these kids grew up competing against each other.

As far as the UT vs UF rivalry was created when the SEC split to an East vs West format and the winner of the UF/UT game normally won the East in the early days. FL's true rivals are FSU and GA. When it comes to UT, most UF fans just like to give the Vols a little ribbing. :tu:

The Gators getting past VA will be a test considering that they will be facing VA's best pitcher that's coming off an injury.

I agree with you twinshooter. I wouldn't hate to see florida win but I would hate to see them win it all by beating Vandy. Dang Florida worries me. It's gonna take some great pitching and hot bats to knock off Florida. When they are hot, they are HOT!! But then again, so is Vandy. This deep in the tournament, there is no team that doesn't belong there. I expect to see Vandy and Florida in the finals.

Looked good today... Hope they have a better showing tomorrow against Waddel than the other night.
 
How the heck did the Vandy player take that shot to the throat?! Glad he is ok
