The only reason pineapple isn't considered appropriate is because the dang Italians just don't have pineapple like we do.

I've been inside a kitchen in Italy where they made pizza.....they put everything on them. Anchovies & squash flowers? You betcha....make a pizza out of that.

I chose no. If I wanted to eat fruit I'd just order a fruit bowl. Same reason I don't like "fruity" beers. Damnit....don't mess up a good thing.

Other than that, I do clean up the scraps from the wife and daughter from time to time. It's how I get my monthly fruit intake. Doctors orders.
