Cooked my first crappie ever

[RUGER]

I am not a good enough fisherman to catch crappie unless someone takes me.
Woodyard did that not long ago and I was able to enjoy the spoils Saturday night.
Wooweeee they were good!

I agree and that's the only way my dad cared about it.
From a fillet standpoint bream is ALOT better than crappie too.

I figure the same reason deer beef or pork has a different flavor when cooked bone in.
To me fish ain't worth the risk though.

Bone in helps with moisture and flavor

At Chaney cabin the 9 to 11 year olds will grab the fish on bone first

We have proven this to many times since 1986

Hard to beat crappie. I also like bream dipped in cocktail sauce, but crappie is at the top
