have a buddy making me a tube call out of it but it is the new thing in the duck call world (or so i am told). it is stabilized and dyed wood...looks SWEET on a tube call

Dang that is pretty darn cool looking. I was just making my tube calls out of bamboo cause it's super easy. But that's got a really neat look.

it is awesome to look at for sure...they come in all different colors and grain type like Maple. they are a bit harder to make when using blanks but not as hard as you would think. If you have a wood lath and a drill press you can make them pretty easy just takes some time to learn it.
