Corn kills.
Yes you can catch a trout with corn but the spilled corn is not digested and can cause a blockage thus killing the fish. Go dig a worm up.

Has this ever been proven? I argued this with folks in Florida all the time that said corn would block the digestive tract of snappers. I can't see a fish not being able to pass a kernel of corn

The trout I fish for with corn die anyway because the water gets too warm in the summer. So I'm not worried about corn
