Absolutely a Bobcat. The white spots behind the ears are a dead giveaway. According to the the government though cougars are moving into East and west Tennessee.

I would have to say bobcat, most of the cougars I've seen are much older than that !!

My cuz in Jackson county(Gainsboro) says they have been seeing a cougar up there for a couple of years now
