County hatch results?

We had a great hatch on my farm in lawrence county, probably the best we've had in 6 or 7 years.

I live in Nashville and work all over Davidson, Williamson, and Maury counties, unreal hatch in these counties. Based on the reports I'm getting, all of Middle TN had a great hatch.

On my farm in Hardeman county another very good hatch...turkeys out the ying yang. I've never called turkeys pests but lemme tell'ya, top-sowing food plots is less and less feasible these days and a growing % of drilled seeds aren't even making it to germination before being eaten by turkeys.

I had / have 6/7 hens left on my place. I don't reckon a single one hatched a baby.. I did see 4-5 baby's about a mile up the road last week.. and they finally made a pass through my yard the other day..

I've not seen any. I hope to get some corn out in front of one of my cams tomorrow. Not been getting a lot of pics of anything. Corn might help bring in deer and turkeys for some pics.

Not seen very many where I travel through Giles and Lawrence. I have seen a few in Giles and Lincoln, still zero in Lawrence that I can remember.

Other than having camera pictures of newborns on my land in southern Giles on about May 13, have not seen or any more pictures.

I do think the weather for the late spring was conducive to a good hatch this year though in these areas.

Last year was a good hatch, this year looks ok, and if next year is good too we may actually see a big increase.

It's all about the hatches and poults making it to adults in turkey populations.

Here in Montgomery County i have seen a lot of polts on the sides of the roads in fields and a bunch behind my house. I have a ton of pictures on several different trail cams also. And from driving around the back forty on Fort Campbell it seems like there was a good hatch there also.

I've seen great poult numbers in Williamson county this year.

Seen very few in Bedford, Marshal, Maury counties. [emoji22][emoji22]
Now I have to admit this is from driving the roads.
I used to see dozens driving to work where now I'm lucky to see one.

Above average I would say for us. Sequatchie/Grundy county area. Seen a couple groups of hens with poults this year, never use to see them.

Overall sounds like positive news across the state. Glad to hear it after the past season I had up here in Montgomery County/Fort Campbell. Toughest season I have had (ate tag soup for the first time in years). Well I guess we will see come March.

I've see a lot of little ones this year. Saw a hen with 10 in Giles back in June (I guess) and then I have seen a few here and there in Rutherford.

I did see four the weekend of Oct. 12th on PP, but 2 were the size of chickens and I hope they will be able to take the colder temps coming.

I feel like we had a good batch as I'm seeing More turkey this year then in a long while, Putnam.

I agree with this as well. I have seen more and had more on camera this year than in a long time.
