Coyotes won

Shot an 8 pt late yesterday in Hardeman Co. shot was right at sundown 4:45cst. Waited 30 minutes as I was uncertain of the shot due to his reaction. Found liver blood and backed out till this morning. Coyotes found him first!

Hate it that the coyotes got to him before you did . Congratulations on a nice buck brother. See them leave them overnight on most hunting shows but around here the coyotes will get to them quick .

My buddy inlet at my place shot a doe last weekend and was the second of the afternoon. She ran into a grown up area and he made sure to find the first one and it wasn't 45 minutes later he blood trailed her into the thick stuff and a pack had already got to her and they started circling him and howling and being aggressive. They kept that one. They are getting keen it seems on getting to them fast.
