Crappie not fried

With this new diet my cardiologist has me on fried is not an option, so I'm thinking grilled or baked y'all got any recipes

Process as usual. Scale & gut them, cut the fins & head off (leave the tail) just like you would for a fried one. Leave the skin on. Take your knife, cross-hatch down into the meat (1/2" pattern), and season to taste.

Grill on high heat until the skin is crispy. Eat everything but the bones
 
Thanks guys. This new diet is opposite of what I have always done with almost everything. But after my last lab work it does seem to be working, don't even have to take cholesterol meds anymore
