I've seen small boats in there fishing at Eastman years ago. They said it was a great spot. Don't know if you can get down there now. They've tore the bridge up over there.

Crappie fishing has been slow this winter. The contact order has been lifted. Apparently there's lots of standing timber in some areas.
If TVA doesn't remove all the debris and standing trees from the lake might be a really good spawn this year.

I read at the bottom of that report that it could take time for the fish tissues to be infected due to some of the pollutants settling to the bottom and they wont be testing any fish until summer and fall so I am still on the fence about keeping them. That was some nasty crap that washed through there.

there is a new ramp to launch at below Ft. Patrick Henry dam. coming from town on 36, turn right just before you go onto the bridge. clearly marked where to turn from Wesley road.
