Been busy and havent had a chance to get this posted. I met up with John @dogmatik a few years back and had the opportunity to hunt with him 2x in Clay county. Great fella. He had a friend of his that bought some land in overton this year and his buddy was cool with me coming to kill a doe. Pretty cool lil farm reminded me a lot of Smith County where I hunted with @Crappie Luck many moons ago.
Cold morning this past tuesday they didnt move till 8 . Had this momma come in to about 33 yards. The ole 35 rem lever action I stole from @ewc laid the smack down on her
I was tickled to sweep unit b and get my 53 county checked off.
It was a great hunt seen 3 more does and another "deer"
