Any guess on age of this deer? Just looking at examples I found online. I am guessing 4.5yr old?

By the book it's 3.5. But could very well be older. 4.5 is a good guess. He was at least 3.5 for sure, congrats on a good deer.

I concur with Catman. His teeth say 3.5 but he otherwise looks mature. He's at least 3.5 anyway. A very nice buck. Congratulations!

His body appears 4 1/2 or older.
I suspect he was likely 4 1/2, despite teeth looking 3 1/2.

While antlers can be a poor indicator of age,
beam length & mass do correlate,
and those antlers are just another factor suggesting 4 1/2.

Not we'll versed in tooth aging, but he looks 4.5 to me. He's a stud regardless! Congratulations!

7.5 & 7 inch bases and 25" main beams. Would kind of hurt my feelings if he was only 3.5 years old. If that's the case I would have loved to see what he would have been in 2 more years.
