Shoot is located across street from : 925 Bucks Pocket Rd SE, Old Fort TN. 37362 Call : 423-584-5126 for more detailed directions

DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 411 north (1-2 miles across state line), turn left onto Browder Rd. Proceed on Browder for 1 mile, until you come to a 4-way intersection. Go through the crossroads. Go one more mile. Turn right on North Bucks Pocket Rd, go about 1 1/2 miles and you will see signs on the left (across the rd. from a red barn). BowDoc Archery
DIRECTIONS: From Springplace Rd. (South), turn left onto BucksPocket Rd. There is a church at the road for reference. Turn right when when you get to a fork in the road. The road name is Samples Chaple Rd. Cross the creek. Take the 1st road on the left, which is North Bucks Pocket Rd., go about 1 1/2 miles and you will see signs on the left (across the rd. from a red barn). BowDocs Archery

Man, you sure are pimping this shoot a lot! There are two 3D shoots being held the same weekend on the same exact road, less than a mile apart competing for shooters. That's either poor planning or the workings of a feud. As for me...I'm shooting both today. :)

Hey FYI...there's a much easier and faster way to get to the shoot from 411.

If you are coming from Benton on 411...turn right at the Marathon gas station in Old Fort. It will be Ladd Spring Rd. Go about 2 1/4 miles and Bucks Pocket Rd is on the left. Then you will find Bow Docs shoot on the right out that road a ways.

It's much easier and a better road than the Browder Rd way. You wont have to do a front end alignment on your vehicle by going the Ladd Spring rd way. LOL

We shot BowDocs and B2Bs today and had a good time at both of them.

That is the way that I go. Crow, did you like the way the course was laid out? Any suggestions?

The lay out was nice; setup very much like an ASA shoot...but I do have a suggestion or two.

1. Put a little more distance between targets. The course wasn't really crowded when we shot it, but we did have a group ahead of us and behind us. Some of the targets were close enough that we had to do the ASA thing and wait on the group ahead and behind us to finish shooting, so we could safely pull arrows. It wasn't like that on every target but some of them were close enough that we didn't want to go pull arrows while the other group was shooting. If the course isn't crowded, it probably ain't a big deal, but the more people that start coming, it can create some bottle necks or potential safety issue...especially since some people lack common sense.

2. More signs. If I didn't know the area from attending previous shoots on that road, I would have had a hard time finding it. I come in from Hwy 411 and on that end of it, I think the only sign we saw was the one beside the Bucks2Beards sign. You guys both need a sign there at the turn on the Hwy...whether that be at the Browder Rd or at the Marathon gas station. I don't know how the signs are on the other end, from Cleveland...but if you guys are gonna start wanting more people to come that don't know a lot about the area, they are gonna need a little more help finding the shooting site.

That's all I can think of. Nobody can control the weather or the mud. Or those pesky 8s that reach out and catch an arrow bound for the 12 ring LOL

Some Jerk stole our Bucks2Beards sign we just had made any info leading to the person responsible would be nice ...

If I hear of anything being stolen I will let you know. In my opinion there is nothing worse than a thief.

Thanks for the input Crow. I will definitely pass this along to Jeff.
