Do we win it all?

Came inside and Vols were down 8-2 bottom of the 5th. Second batter was Gilbert and saw him get tossed. Granted he shouldn't have said "f'ing horrible" but that's crap. Even the announcers saying how bad that was seeing how many say something about calls. Oh well…maybe they turn a switch on soon.

Too little, too late.

Gotta give ND credit. For a team not known for their power, they sure lit it up early.

Hopefully it doesn't carry over to tomorrow.

Gonna be a big hole to come out of but I've got faith they can do it. Heard them say that game the game 1 winner has advanced 80% of the time. Hopefully they can be the 20%.

Here's the real kicker, the guy pitching for them today is their ace.

He's good, with several pitches. I don't see us scoring much off of him.

We need a strong game from our starter to keep it close until the later innings.

I'm afraid it may end today!

We'll see what they're made of today. Hopefully they can force a decisive game 3. Tn just looked off yesterday. What I don't understand is trying to hit one out with every swing. I understand that we hit 3 hr but come on, when you have RISP, you gotta at least put the ball in play and move them over. Not making it to Omaha would be a terrible and disappointing way for this team to end its season. It would be such a TN thing to do though.

Can't believe it's been our starting pitching that's been our biggest problem. Dollander has to be on point today to keep them in check if we can't score early, which we haven't yet this post season.

It's been our MO all season, and has worked. But, I agree. A bunt here or there might open things up.

I also agree that it will be a huge disappointment to not make Omaha.

I did read someone asking if we have EVER won any sporting event when Peyton has been in attendance :D ?

ND jumped on Tidwell pretty good and early. They should've pulled him in the 2nd after continuing to get rocked. Yes, lay a hunt down here and there chip away at them. You've got crazy good speed on the bases most of the time so take advantage of it. Fingers crossed they get the bats to working sooner today and the defense is solid on the field.

I think they bounce back today. Imo they are still the best team. I think they still go to Omaha. Almost kinda get the feeling the pressure is on ND

Normally, I might agree with you. But we are Tennessee and have become gun shy because we can screw up like no other.
