Does your bow company do this?

I take flack from friends and others about being a Mathews fanboy. I'm grown, I can take it. I do love Mathews bows, but I really have a lot of respect for the founder, Matt McPherson. I'm friends with one of his sound engineers and if half of what he's told me about Matt is true then he's got my loyalty. He and his wife started a ministry project last year that I think is pretty cool...

As long as part of my purchase ends up supporting projects like this I'm a fanboy.

A purchase goes to paying the founder's salary. He then in turn donates to charity. Indirectly yes.

A purchase does go to supporting NASP.

There are lots of good bow companies out there; I just wanted to share another reason I like mine.

I like joking around about the Mathews cult. Ha!

Right now I would add quality of leadership of a bow company to the grip, draw cycle and over all performance of the bow as an equal in my choice. Then my choice would be Mathews hands down. Great leadership = a great product and consumer choice.

There are allot of Christian owners of bow companies . I buy a bow based on performance and the way it shoots in my hands , not based on the owner's religion .

Yep.
I dont see how that link is affiliated iwth mathews though.
A reason i tihnk mathews is so big on the NASP is because they all buy the mathews genisis for the schools so they are selling bows doing it.

Bowtech also has funded several projects for US veterans.
They stamp the american flag on bows and put god bless on every bow. They also have bows named the 101st, 82nd airborne, tribute, allegiance. etc.

They have an offer where if your a military man on leave you can buy a fully decked guardian for $499.

Not like mathews is the only place in town that does it. :)

Anyway, yes it is a good thing mcpherson is doing.

I'm like scott. I concentrate on the bow itself. While I do agree with the contributions that some bow companies make, it will not affect my decision on what bow I buy. Nor will the name on it.

Don't get me wrong , I think Matt McPherson is a great bow designer and person . I just think there are so many people doing great things in the archery industry as well.

I think if the individual buyer finds added value when supporting a product due to charity or other causes, I don't have a problem with it. I look for the product and customer service as my main deciding actors. I think Matthews is a quality product and JayMc is adding value to an already fine product.

Thats one of the many reasons why I will NEVER buy anything other than a Mathews! NO OTHER BOW COMPANY SUPPORTS ARCHERY THE WAY MATHEWS DOES AND THATS A FACT! MATHEWS, CATCH US IF YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
