Walker’s Razor Tacti-Grip Electronic Earmuffs - $29.70

Dont know if same model, but I have a couple of these and really like them.

Sams club also carrys a set and the clubs usually start discounting these and their knives very soon as well.

I ordered a set to compare to my Howard Leights, I read the reviews that indicated the microphones were pretty good, which is what I look for since I use them for hunting as well.

I recently had my hearing checked and i have lost a lot of hearing in my left ear... figured for $30 bucks it was worth having and trying

Ordered one. I wear hearing aids but am always worried about losing them while hunting. Hoping this will give me some hearing benefits and protection from the firearm blast. Thanks

Well. Too late for this set. They arrived today.
Yea, I was tempted to buy some of the gel ear pads, but read in the description that they may come with some. I doubt they are as comfortable as the 3rd party gel ear pads but I decided to wait and see. Did yours come with the gel ear pads?

  • DETAILS - These shooting muffs are packed with features, including an easy-to-use control knob, and a 3.5mm audio input jack; Comfortable gel earpads & headband and the compact collapsible design provide convenience; Powered by 2 AAA Batteries (Included)

How do I tell? Doesn't mention them.

Just got mine, the ear pads are not silicone, at least not in the sense that they are filled with silicone gel, though they are pretty comfortable. The sound deadening is pretty good, but the microphones are not all that, they don't seem to be bidirectional, like the Howard Leights. They seem to pickup well in a quiet environment, but if I can't tell where the sound is coming from, then it's pretty useless for hunting, though I suspect they will be great for range use. They also have a weird clicking sound, so it may be getting some kind of interference from somewhere in the house. I'll have to give them a better workout out in the field to see if they can improve on their first impression.
