Yep that explains it. Now if I can just remember it. I almost picked up a box of double x and would have had I known they were the old superme 2 oz as that's what I shot forever.

They are the same, I have shot the 3.5" 2oz 5's forever and shot the double x in the same load this last weekend and they pattern identical and for my set up are deadly. they kick just as bad as always as well.
 
I'm going to shoot a couple of the last old Supreme and then a couple of the Double X and post back here with results.
 
I bought as many Supreme # 5's as I could last year when I found that were going to be discontinued. I have used them ever since they were introduced. I did buy 2 boxes of the Longbeards #5 just to see what all the fuss is about. Never tried the Double X.

Lol yeah I figured you were a reliable source, but I needed more ammo anyway and it felt good to shoot some paper. :grin:

I heard the other day that Tullahoma Walmart got some 5's in 3 and 3.5, might want to check. I bought a box of 3.5's at Fayetteville the other day. All they had was the 3.5's in #5, and only about 5 boxes of them.

I was in Tullahoma Sunday and they didn't have any.
