Thanks to David for getting my new spinning rod finished up. I should have taken better pictures of it. I just snapped this one while my 6 year old was casting a rubber plug in the yard.
I wanted a simple rod without a lot of flash, and he delivered!
The balance is great again. From what I can tell in the yard, comparing it my other spinning rods, the action is going to be exactly what I need.
I was just tossing a 1/8oz plug, but it will outcast my Lew's Custom Speed Stick (see reel and same line) by a pretty good bit. There may be something to these microwave guides that David recommended!
Overall quality of the rod is outstanding. No shortcuts taken. I believe I will be looking to David for more rods in the future.
