Dumb 4.5…..survived

I've seen bucks hit their maximum antler score at 3 1/2, 4 1/2, 5 1/2 and 6 1/2. Hard to guess when an individual buck will have his largest antlers. But as long as you're letting bucks hit maturity before harvest, you're going to see some pig bucks body-wise!
And to me that is most important. We have some 3.5/ that will score 125" . Wide tall and long. And paired with a small body, they really look impressive. But knowing they are immature and seeing their doe like bodies, i have zero temptation to shoot them

This we notice the most inches generally 3.5 to 4.5 then generally just fill out from 4.5 on. But we seen it range so much it's hard to ever know. But you have to get them there first.
