A lot of people have the village idiot green striped. When he starts a thread they don't see it so they start their own. His threads are always troll threads so everyone uses the other one.

He is certainly a glutton for punishment. A sane person wouldn't return to a place where he is hated, ridiculed, insulted, laughed at, made fun of, talked about openly, and is the butt of numerous jokes every time members of the forum get together. But here he is. He's been coming back demanding more for TWENTY YEARS!

Sometimes there are more than two threads on the same subject. I see how two threads can easily come up. One guy starts one, others don't see it due to ignore feature, so another thread gets started. I think that may be the biggest reason.

I didn't realize the ignore feature hid threads started by another; figured it hid posts but I guess that is part of it. I think I'll give it a try.
