Early Top 12 potential matchups?

This may be the most moronic post you've ever made, and trust me when I say you've set that bar really high. In your pea brain you think the NCAA changed the playoff system because we wanted it. News flash: Nobody with any power over the playoff is listening to anyone on TNDeer. You really should stop posting. You embarrass the university of alabama, the state of alabama, America, and the human race as a whole. You do realize when I say yall I mean the collective programs of the bottom feeders that have had NO CHANCE for the most part to reach the playoffs year after year under the 4 rule invite system because well they are are for the most part bottom feeder programs, been bottom feeders and will most likely remain bottom feeder programs for much of their existence.

With that said you have the shot in the dark programs pop up their heads like LSWHO WHO slither in there with a QB once in a blue moon that get the job done then drop off the face of the planet for another 10 years or so. You get a program like michigan last year that cheated for much of the season and had a QB and got the job done and look at them now.

So yeah YALL kept on crying about expanding the playoffs and yall got exactly what you wanted. So suck it up buttercup if it happens.

Of the 3 loss teams on the list I think Lane Kiffin at Ole Miss possibly has the best shot in the dark but his strength of schedule may not be good enough to make a argument. He is way down the totem pole.

" I've said it all season " seems to be your go to Socrates. You say soooo much you might get something right occasionally like Mildue and the heisman and boomer Sooners being trash. If the gumps don't get installed into the playoffs will you watch their meaningless bowl game?

12 Teams is just ridiculous. Saban Said it best back in 2016. There were DEEP grumbling then about playoff expansion . That LSWHO should have been in the top 4. That they were a playoff caliber team. Saban said something to the effect that while they may have had all the right stats to get in the top 4 there were only two teams that legitimately were going to have a chance to win the National Championship that season and that was ALABAMA and Clemson. He was right.

Man you know how I feel about meaningless bowl games. They are glorified scrimmage matches. I have never watched a single one. Even the years ALABAMA was playing in one. Which has been very few.

I don't believe you. When the mighty Vols sucked for so many yrs I jumped at any chance to see them play, even the younger players .
 
I love watching the bowl games. It's not meaningless to the players or the program. Alabama will be in a bowl so they will get extra time to practice and develop their players. It's not meaningless to the players who play in it. For some of them it will be the last time they get to wear their college jersey in a game and for some it will be the last game they play. I remember the days when Alabama barely made a bowl and was stoked that they did. I also remember them not making it and how bad it sucked to not have a game to look forward to. Bowl games are one of the things that make college football unique.
I don't like this playoff format but I hope Alabama makes the playoffs and under this format I think they should if SMU beats Clemson. Regardless I love getting to go bowling. 🎳

Me too! Todays young benchwarmers are tomorrows superstars. I love watching the beauty of the sport not just " my" team win so I can brag about something I had nothing to do with.

I'm all about the top 12 playing i mean really playing for something. Most teams just mail it in for the bowl games. And I enjoy bowl games but most of the time you don't see the same team that played all season in them.

NOPE not at all. I did not even watch last years National Championship till after the fact as DeBoer was not even on my Radar and I had never watched a Washington game in my life so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
