So now that season is over it's time to get ready for next yr. This was my first yr in the saddle. Many of you talked about tinkering a lot. So I want to make a few changes.

Looking at getting latitudeSS sticks and Cruzr Seeker platform possibly the mini. Any reviews on either you would like to share?

I used trophyline double steps and EDP Platform. Probably will sell this summer.

Cant give you an honest review, i hated every stick and platform i tried! I ended up with an out on a limb big bob one stick and have been loving it ever since!

I have used the mini seeker since I began saddle hunting 3 yrs ago. It is great for me and the angled front definitely helps with foot pressure on longer hunts. I am thinking of trying a larger platform next season, only because I have never used anything else. I wear a size 10 boot and occasionally even wear my larger Lacrosse Alphaburlys with no issue on the mini.

As far as steps go, I started out using 4 Hawk steps, but have since changed multiple times. Sometimes I will use two sticks in a sort of modified one stick method along with my repel rope. For me, the one stick method works well, but becomes more difficult later season when more clothing layers are required. This off season I am going to experiment with paracord presets and SRT / DSRT climbing methods.

Check out the JRB climbing website as it provides a vast knowledge for safe climbing methods.
