Food Plots Experiment for next year?

That's reclaimed land? What I wouldn't give to have soil that good.
Lol, bought it in 2019 for $3100 per acre. Just turned down $12,000 per acre offer last month.

Now I did spend $8000 reclaiming the overgrown field....

I remember as a little kid back in the 1970s riding on the fender of the tractor while my Papaw was chopping silage out of that field. He used to rent the place back in the 70s.

That's a very cool relation to the land!

And as for the land prices, CRAZY!

Until just a few years ago, unimproved hilly timber land had to be priced down around $1,500/acre to sell in my area. Even saw 1,000-acre chunks NOT selling at $900/acre. Now, in just the last three years, land is selling at $3,000-3,500/acre. Insane. My neighbor wants $5,200/acre for a 182-acre tract, although it's sat on the market without a buyer for almost a year.
