favorite ammo for squirrels

yeah that would be nice for me since the wife has annissue with loud noises since her stroke. i cant shoot anywhere around the house while she is there.
I use CCI MINI MAG HP. Has always done good, head shots and shoulder shots.

Next time I order .22's I'll try a box of the white label. Let us know how they do for you.
CCI HP Mini Mags for me as well. They shoot pretty well in almost all of my 22's. Got bunches of them back when they were $4.99/box.

I might have missed it but, I love Remington vipers, they are the semi wad cutters or the Elmer Keith bullets of the .22cal world. I think they hit harder than the round nose and cause a lil less damage. I really like em, they shoot fine in my CZ guns but what doesn't?
Where can you find that profile die. I have been looking online since I first read this post.I have a Neal Waltz bullet profiling die set that I have used to hollow point some SK Standard+ and it is amazingly accurate out of my Remington 541S. Can't wait to shoot a squirrel in the eye with itMade 2 versions of the Eley style flat point as well.....

Received contact information from Neal Waltz. He retired and turned the die fabrication over to Greg Walley. I have a die on order. Following is Greg's response.
"22 rimfire ammunition bullet modification dies are now in continuous production.
These dies are the original design by Neal B. Waltz, who has been making them for over 30 years.
Neal asked that I take over the business of making and selling these dies. He has retired from the business.
To order, please send a check or money order made out to Greg Walley for $180, plus $15 shipping for a total of $195.
The dies will be sent by USPS Priority Mail. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

thanks. bought some cci mini mag hp 36gr. been using federal and aguila 40 gr solids. kills them with very little damage but i got to thinking back when my brother used them and squirrel came back to life and about bit his thumb off. need to see some blood and damage lol.
