I haven't even fooled with hunting opening day around here the last couple years. Our lease is 3 hours away so we don't usually make the trip until the Friday or Saturday after thanksgiving. Told the 5 year old today we better start scouting because we may be hunting before we eat turkey next Thursday.

Been seeing and hearing some geese not sure about ducks yet but I'll keep my eyes out for sure.

Idk about big ducks but I deer hunted around my brother's duck hole this morning and it was slap full of woodies. Opening morning will be a beatdown for him and his buddies if they all stick around.
