My wife will NEVER understand my excitement!
I bought a Mossberg Patriot in 375 Ruger about 5 years ago. Got one box of 50 pieces of Hornady brass to start reloading, and then COVID hit and it became unobtainable. I've been super careful with that brass. Hornady didn't make any more, had no plans to make any more, but then apparently made a surprise limited run this past Fall, all getting snapped up by flippers who sold it for 3x on gunbroker. All my alerts arrived too late. Even as recently as a couple of months ago, Hornady told me that brass wasn't in their production schedule.
There has been a discussion about this on the longrangehunter forum, and yesterday a member posted that basspro, of all places, had some in stock. I thought no way, but checked anyway, and sure enough, they had it!
I grabbed two boxes, and several other members were also able to get some before the flippers. I was still in doubt until I got the FedEx notice this afternoon that the boxes have shipped.
I still don't know why you introduce a fairly new caliber and rifle, and don't make the brass to support it, but I am now set for life. One Happy Camper!
