I've killed enough over the years that just don't have a huge desire to kill one anymore unless it's just to big to pass up. Plus my son started hunting so just enjoy letting him shoot them.

Having said that, this one was just to big to pass up lol. Not the biggest racked deer I've killed out here but may be the biggest overall with weight and size. Was well over 200lbs live weight and the head on him was massive. The pictures don't do the mass on the antlers justice either.

Just blessed to be honest and all the glory goes to god and him giving me the health and ability to be out there each day

He came out of nowhere around 8:30sm this morning and that was it.

Side note those Barnes 250grain bullets do some massive damage.

Congrats buddy! I too went through the "let my son kill them" phase for several years but he didn't hunt last year and said he probably won't this year so I've squeezed the trigger once last year and once this year. Working and a girlfriend are taking his time so guess it's up to me. 😂
