First fruits of the year

Picked 3 tomatoes today and several little ones. I could eat them till I was sick.

Working in the garden today I noticed we finally have 2 or 3 small tomatoes that are starting to blush...all the bigger ones are still green....so ready for a homegrown tomatoe.

Got my first head of broccoli this morning, will have 2 more heads ready tomorrow morning. Also got enough cukes for a bowl of cuke and onions with vinegar and spices. 2 squash going to stir fry with broc, onion and some rice. Make a homemade brown sauce for it too. Tomatos got ALOT of small green sanmarzono early girl and cherry. Also few days ago picked a mess of green beans for big pot for dinner. All my plants are loaded just waiting. Peppers plants, really slow.

Started picking okra this week, have already had a few tomato sandwiches, plenty of squash, red potatoes, onions, leeks and beets. Peaches and cream corn should be ready next week or so.
