First Official Trad Hunt!

Was fortunate enough to get all my stuff in on Thursday (except the quiver). 31 1/4" Beman ICS 400s, Simmons Interceptor 150 grain glue ons, 100 grain threaded inserts (total of 250 grains). Used some 24 hour epoxy to get the broadheads and inserts assembled, screwed into the shafts, and spin tested to make sure everything was straight. Sharpened on Friday.

Got everything together and hit the woods on Saturday in upper SC. Great hunt, lots of turkeys and other critters to look at, but no deer unfortunately. Took some pics for you boys:

Thanks for the report. Those Simmons look BAD!!! I considered using them this year. Let us know how they do.

Those simmons look tough! Glad to see somebody in the woods. Looks like a nice setup.

And I just found out that my first trip back to TN for the 10/1 weekend will be cancelled due to work. Pretty bummed. I think 10/15 will be my first shot.
