I roosted them the sunset before. 4 long beards and 3 hens. I liked those odds so I called 2 buddies and offered to take them along. I have doubled with each of them before so I thought we'd try a triple and sure enough it worked. Slipped in about 70 yards from them and put 3 hen decoys out. After the first gobble we took turns lightly calling me with box, one with a slate and one with a mouth call so it would seem like each hen decoy was talking. Sure enough it worked. They flew down and strutted right in. Hens never came down until we shot.
