I have a couple of plots that border some gravel roads on our property that we use to access different places and was wanting to plant some Egyptian wheat or food plot screen to maybe get up 6 ft tall to make the animals feel a little more comfortable. Any of you have any luck with any type of food plot screen planting

I think first frost kills most screening plants. I recently planted Egyptian wheat (120 days to mature) with the hopes that it'll be mature by first frost. I think planting them in the fall would be a waste, although in south Alabama you may have totally different frost dates.

Egyptian Wheat is hard to beat but needs to go in the ground in the next 10 days or so. This pic is a border of it last September
