wouldn't say "legit" cold weather but I say layered up under them would be ok. These are more to keep you dry in cool weather. I'm going to use them for the boat on cool days

They had the Jackets on sale as well. But all were sold out except small before I saw it.

They have a heavy insulated lining that is removable. So you could use them either way. But yes they would work well in cold weather. As well as fully waterproof.
