Frustration..

I don't know if this will help you or not but I'm over 60 sets in on one single buck over 2 seasons…

Hunting older bucks is an endurance test in futility. You've got to love the cat & mouse, and be content usually being on the losing end of it. It'll test a man's fortitude for sure. There are several times a season every season that I feel stupid for even being out there. But that challenge is what I love about it. The harder it is, the better it feels when I succeed.
 
I've been hunting my whole life and never killed a true mature buck. On the flip side my son killed one at age 10. Just about being there at the right time. My sons deer was killed on youth day. I knew he was there but even summer time he was nocturnal. But for whatever reason on that day he came
Out at 525 PM.
