FSU vs. BOSTON College

IMO if you put your hands on a ref during the game you are gone. I dont care what clock is running, whether the balls spotted or whatever. ACC officials didnt have the balls to throw the flag or eject him from the game because lets face it, if FSU loses, who else from the ACC is going to the playoffs. Same could be said for his other shenanigans. Winston is an athlete no doubt. FSU is nothing without him though, dont get confused about that fact.

So let me get this straight: Jimbo Fisher and the entire football staff, Mike Martin and the entire baseball staff, the entire FSU Athletics office, the entire FSU administration, the entire FSUPD, the entire TPD, the entire State's Attorneys office, the Governor and NOW the entire ACC office are "just protecting their best player." Thank goodness the national media and every non-FSU fan have figured out how terrible of a person he is, or else we would never know.....

Man, come on! Are you trying to act like JW is a choir boy, and everybody is just picking on him? Are you really trying to say its a stretch that Jimbo Fisher and the whole athletic administration wouldn't, or hasn't tried to cover and sweep things under the rug for Jameis? Are you saying it's not a documented fact the the PD isn't being investigated for not handling the case correctly? What he said was a "FACT", a player should not for any reason put his hands on a official, period. The only people who tried to down play this were the ACC officials and FSU fans....hmmm. ESPN's officiating experts agreed JW should have been ejected.

This guy has been involved in a rape investigation, has been caught shoplifting, was implicated in the same autograph scandal that Todd Gurley served several game suspensions for, stood up in front of a public crowd and made his dumbassery known to all who would listen, and now shoves ACC officials out of his way during a game.

He has been suspended for one freakin game and then he was so sure that nothing would happen, he dressed out and warmed up with the team. And that was for his little lunchroom sermon. FSU AD, Jimbo Fisher, and Jameis Winston are jokes.

Anyone that wants to hang their hat on the Clemson and Boston College defenses needs to look at who these defenses played against. Both have a strength of schedule in the 50's. Florida's is in the low teens. Good luck with that.

Hangnail,

You raise a somewhat valid point, however I am unaware of any analysis that takes into account Strength Of Schedule (SOS) when compiling total defense statistics.

needs to look at who these defenses played against

Perhaps you an provide a source that includes SOS that would support your assertion.

SOS are merely predictions, adjusted weekly, that poll voters consider. Total defense numbers are an across the board look at a team and of how a team did current to the week they last played and how they rank as compared to other teams.

Florida has not played (defensively) as well as the other teams ahead of them regardless of SOS.

Maybe I'm saying you should check and see what Winston is guilty of ,No not what the SEC tries to spin. READ the real reports.Yes he walked out with crab legs but do you think that was stealing ,not hardly. Check out Tenn or Bamas freebees.

We have played better defenses and we have certainly seen better offenses. No need to worry my friends.

My assertion is just that. I have no idea if there is a freakin link to any support of my assertion. I do know that the athletes on Florida's defense can beat the sand out of anything Clemson or BC can throw at them. Have you looked at the schedules for these two? Keep in mind that the Florida players haven't had a heck of a lot to play for. Don't be suprised if Florida has more players drafted this next draft than Clemson and BC combined.
