Game Times Vols First 3 Games

Gameday will probably be in knoxville that weekend if those are the two choices. Mich st vs oregon, or a 6-6 vols that everyone has picked to "shock the world"!
How bad do you vol fans think the Sooners are gonna get beat?

Here we go again. :tu:

I hope they do well this year, but I hate to see them play jr colleges 2 out of the first 3 games of the season. seems they do that every year and inflate the hopes of their fan base and then they are suicide watch after the first 3 or 4 games against equal sized schools.

Each year, the Vols always play one of the toughest schedules in the nation. :tu:

That theory has been debunked..

Gator, thanks for posting. Unfortunately, it is sure to be conveniently ignored and denied as it doesn't fit the popular narrative.

Yep... Had to hear the last several years how UT played a tougher schedule than UF. When you look back, UF has had a tougher schedule 10 out of the last 11 years.

Some on here wanted to point out the rankings before the season started. Those are make believe because no one knows how good a team will be. True rankings are when all the games have been played. :tu:

true, all sec teams are gonna play a tough schedule because they play each other and the sec is deep. but loading up easy games early will never make sense to me. heck play Alabama week 1, then play LSU, then Oklahoma or Oregon. Save the patsies till mid to late season. Not just hating on UT, other SEC schools do the same, but seems UT is the biggest offender

Florida likes to play most of their games in the state of Florida, they are forced to leave the state in some SEC games. They play Georgia each year and call it a neutral site, the neutral site is in Jacksonville,Florida. It has been forty years since Florida played a game on the west coast,Tennessee has played Oregon and UCLA both on the west coast a few years ago.

Lol at the Gators :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Yep... Always plays GA near the FL/GA line in the State of FL. Don't see GA complaining.... :tu:

I guess FL could always ask FSU to move out of the State... :rotf: I did notice how you glossed over the schedule and not mention FSU.

Unless you forgot how to count, UT plays 8 games in the State of TN.... Your point???? :rotf:

Gator, here is a trivia question for you,who was the President the last time that Florida's football team crossed the Mississippi River to play a football game?I don't know myself but it may have been 40 years just guessing.Lol

Vol fans have to be the most energetic fan base in the country.

It seems to me like being a vol fan has to be tiring. I don't think I would even enjoy watching football if I spent so much time and effort hating every other program in the country and looking for articles that make the vols sound good or other programs look bad.

Hats off to the vols for persistence.
