I'm confident enough to bet any of the Gators or the paper bag football fan (mtn cur) $100 to chosen charity. Are any of them that confident that it won't happen? :moon:

I heard a bunch of yapping, but all I hear now are crickets?

Paper bag fan. That's perfect!
This is coming from the guy swinging from his.... NEVERMIND.

Pretty sure it's all talk like last year when I begged half dozen peoe to bet.

Dang.... We went from SDS having UT winning 9 or 10 games to firing CBJ in the next couple of years.

If UT doesn't figure out the "D" problems, it will be a 6 or 7 win season. Everybody wants to blame UT's DBs. Where was the pressure on the QB. Where was the help by the LBs underneath? The Vols have a little more problems on "D" than the DBs.... :)

UT let a cupcake put up 557 yards.... :tu:

Now GNB. We know that you didn't really watch the game and figure all of that out on your own.

They ( UT DBs ) got eaten alive for about 1 1/2 qtrs. BGSU found a weak spot in Em. Mosely and exploited it. The QB pressure was there though not up to par with what it usually is. BGSU QB was sacked in the game and hurried multiple times. When he was lighting it up, he negated the pass rush mostly by having a lightning fast release. He was hit right at the release on multiple occasions.

LB help? I'm not really sure what the defensive game plan was for BGSU but it seemed to me like they were test running their new dime package and from the looks of it, it still needs work. There was a total of about 16 total defensive snaps where we had a MLB lined up. Snaps split by Jumper and Kirkland. Jumper looked lost to me most of the time and had 1 solo tackle and one assisted tackle. Kirkland played considerably less snaps and had something like 4 tackles and one sack. When he gets it all together he will be a solid MLB. He has closing speed that is unreal. That time will come later in the season.

I noticed that Maggitt didn't line up at DE much if any that's where he excels IMO. Also noticed that Barnett was lined up at the left DE and he usually takes most snaps on the right. IMO they were trying out some different stuff on D most likely because they were planning on handling BGSU easily and came out and got hit in the mouth.

Figure in all of the injuries and players out on the D plus the DB coach, who BTW is Janceks eyes in the box, and all didn't go as expected. They will get back to what they know against OK and that is turning Maggitt and Barnett loose and things will go a little better.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: had to suspend your own DB coach! Not only players now but coaches... :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

OH and btw, now it is OK to act like injuries is the reason to play bad but when UF lost 28 a few years back Vol fans didn't mind laughing about that. :tu:

No one was laughing, your making up crap as you go along

2013 when UF lost so many players and was losing because of it, all the vols on here were laughing saying that's not a excuse! Admit it that it hurts when you have starters out now! :rotf:
