Ghost River Section of Wolf River

Does anyone know how to, or even if it is possible to, get a boat into the Ghost River section of the Wolf River. I have a 1648 War Eagle with a 25 hp Yamaha and have seen that folks do put in john boats at the launch on Bateman Rd. but I've never known whether or not they are able to run up the river there and into the Ghost River section.

Cant say for certain but I would think with that size of a boat you could get anywhere on the river. Been wanting to get down there myself. Used to catch some good bass out of there.

Never been on it, but have heard that folks sometimes have to get out and drag canoes in spots

I've boated from Bateman bridge up to the next bridge over the highway but can't remember whether you can go any further from there. I know you can't get too far going the other way from Bateman. The river splits into several channels around where the power line crosses the river there. That's where I did most of my wood duck hunting.
